Kalman Sultanik is senior Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress. A former president of the World Confederation of United Zionists, he has held several senior positions in the UIA.
Kalman Sultanik served as Vice-Chairman of the International Council of the Auschwitz Museum and as a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. He is President of the Federation of Polish Jews in the United States.
Born in Poland in 1917, Kalman Sultanik was a leader of the Hashomer Hatzair youth movement. He is a survivor of the Thereisenstadt concentration camp, from which he was liberated in 1945. Kalman Sultanik has been member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since February 1973.
