Prof. Yaffa Zilbershats teaches International Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights Law at Bar-Ilan University. Among others, she served as Vice-Dean of the faculty of law at Bar-Ilan University, thought constitutional law at the IDF College of National Security, edited the faculty law review “Bar-Ilan Law Studies”, and served as an academic advisor  of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.

Prof. Zilbershats has BA in Law studies from Bar-Ilan University, master's degree from New York University, and Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University.

Within her public activities, Prof. Zilbershats is a member of the committee for reviewing personal security details, a member of the committee for reviewing parliamentary supervision of the Israeli security bodies, and a member of the Ne’eman committee for drafting the constitution. In the past, she also served as a Director in the Israeli Airports Authority.

Prof. Yaffa Zilbershats is a Member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors since June 2004.
