The Jewish Agency, Israel Centre South Africa and TelFed are celebrating a year of record aliyah from South Africa.

A special ceremony will take place at the Kotel welcoming new olim, who arrived on both the "Aliyah Bet" flight on December 31, as well as on the first ever Aliyah flight from South Africa this past summer. On January 1st, 2009, beginning at 10:00 am, the ceremony will be broadcast on the Jewish Agency website.
