Annette Crandell

Annette Crandell immigrated to Israel from Canada in January 2005 after a longstanding connection to the State through personal, professional and community ties.

Annette's professional career began with community work at Jewish Family and Child Services in Toronto where she worked as a clinical social worker in the area of poverty, addictions and group work for eleven years. During that time Annette was an active volunteer both in Toronto and Israel. Annette chaired the Women's Programming Committee for her synagogue, and volunteered with the Israeli Forum teaching English to adults in Israel during the summer. Annette was particularly active with Aid to Disabled Veterans for Israel-Canada. She served on their board and chaired the group visit host committee. Prior to making Aliya, Annette worked at the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, where she created and managed the Toronto Israel Experience Centre, overseeing such programs as birthright Israel, March of the Living, and various adult missions to Israel.

Currently, Annette works in the Israel Department of the Jewish Agency for Israel Partnership 2000 Division as the Living Bridge Coordinator of the Nesher - Broward County Florida Partnership.
