The Jewish Agency Absorption Center Gilboa in the Beit Alfa Kibbutz in the Lower Galilee received a special delegation of visitors on May 11, 2010: A group of 27 African American women from the Bernadette Champion Group from the Washington D.C. area.
During their visit, the delegation learned more about the Jewish Agency and the activities of the Gilboa Absorption Center that houses new immigrants from Ethiopia. After participating in a ceremony, the visitors were treated to traditional Ethiopian food, such as Injera.
