ABRAHAM ZIGEL ABSORPTION CENTER, RA'ANANA
Location A thriving city in the heart of the Sharon, Ra’anana was first established by Jewish pioneers from the United States. Today Ra’anana is a flourishing city attracting native Israelis and veteran and new immigrants from all over. Her trademark is one of tolerance and mutual respect, community life and volunteerism. The high professional management of the municipality, excellent educational system, beautiful parks and gardens and outstanding cultural programs all come together to make the city of Ra'anana the "Pearl of the Sharon", as she is known and the Ra’anana Absorption Center the 'Jewel in the Crown. Since its establishment in 1922 Ra’anana has consistently attracted immigrants, whether because of its pluralistic reputation, central location or high standard of living many of the 78,000 residents hail from France, England, the U.S, Canada, South Africa and Russia. For quite a few, The Abraham Zigel Ra'anana Absorption Center dictates their first impression and the Center staff goes out of their way to meet the high expectations. Set in a quiet, yet central neighborhood of this manicured community the halls of the Absorption Center reverberate with Spanish, French and English but even more so with a calm contentment and many broad smiles.
Accommodation The one and two bedroom apartments all have a kitchenette, bathroom, and a small enclosed storage balcony and include basic furniture - beds, table, chairs, a closet, desk and shelves.
