Aliyah and Absorption Programs for Youth and Young Adults
  • For young adults, considering aliyah, the Jewish Agency offers a variety of both academic and non-academic programs, for those between the ages of 18-35.
  • All programs have a social and cultural component, which includes lectures and excursions.
  • There is a cost for each program.
  • There is usually a deposit fee as well.

Na'ale High School
An intensive ulpan program in Jerusalem for single olim who are university graduates, from all over the world. The program provides guidance for advanced academic studies, orientation for employment and housing options.
  Ulpan Etzion
An intensive ulpan program in Jerusalem for single olim who are university graduates, from all over the world. The program provides guidance for advanced academic studies, orientation for employment and housing options.
  Ulpan Carmel Etzion
An intensive ulpan program in Haifa for single olim, who are university graduates from all over the world. The program provides guidance for advanced academic studies, introduction to employment and housing options.
   
Ulpan Sapir Ra’anana 
This is a high-level ulpan and absorption program for new immigrant single college graduates and professionals from all over the world, aged 22-35. It is their springboard to successful acclimation to Israeli society.
 

Garin Tzabar
Garin Tzabar is a group organized by the Israeli scouts youth movement for Ktinim Chozrim (Returning Minors) and young olim who choose to move to Israel and serve in the IDF.

  Kibbutz Ulpan
The kibbutz ulpan program is aimed at young olim which combines Hebrew instruction, work and a real encounter with Israeli society and the Land of Israel.
 

 

 
Ulpan Kinneret
Ulpan Kinneret offers young adults (ages 18-30) a five-month intensive, immersive Hebrew-language program in the city of Tiberias ("Teveria" in Hebrew), on the shore of the beautiful Lake Kinneret.
 

Beit Brodetsky 
The Beit Brodetsky Young Olim Program is specially designed for young new immigrants who intend to enroll in further education in Israel.

 

  Ulpan Ramla 
Academic ulpan in the center of Israel. Live-in ulpan for young, single academics between the ages of 22 and 35 who hold academic degrees or professional diplomas

 

 

Student Authority 
The Student Authority grants regular tuition scholarships for up to three years of higher education for eligible new immigrant students for undergraduate and graduate degrees, and for practical engineering and some certificate studies.

  First Home in the Homeland for Singles
A program that provides a soft landing for eligible singles on kibbutzim in the north and south of Israel. The olim pay a subsidized fee for living on the kibbutz, participate in a Hebrew ulpan and receive wide array of absorption support services.,  meals not included.
 

TAKA
A preparatory program for young olim who have completed up to two semesters of higher education overseas and wish to continue studies in Israel.

 

 

Young Adult Absorption Centers
A program providing young olim with a wide array of absorption services such as Hebrew ulpan, educational and cultural programming and preparation for higher education and the labor market in Israel.

 

  National Service for Observant Young Women
The National Service (Sherut Leumi) program gives exceptional observant young women the opportunity to make aliyah and spend a year in meaningful volunteer service.
  Mechinot - Post-High School Leadership Preparatory Programs
The program, run with a select group of Mechinot, offers idealistic young men and women the opportunity to live with motivated Israelis their age in a dynamic environment, learn Hebrew, delve intensively into Jewish textual study and participate in community service and social action volunteer work.
