About Us
Since 2000, thousands of young people have immigrated to Israel—with or without their families—through various Jewish Agency Aliyah initiatives. Our commitment to ensure that every young immigrant has the opportunity to reach his or her potential is unshakable. Together we have brought these young people to Israel and they are our responsibility.
The San Diego IBIM Student Village, founded by the Jewish Agency for Israel and supported by international partners, is a leader in youth absorption. Serving as the first home for student-aged immigrants from around the world, the Village is not only a place to sleep and study, it is a place of promise and progress—where residents take their initial steps as Israeli citizens and build their future in Israel.
Today, nearly 18 years since it opened its doors, the IBIM Student Village is at the forefront of young adult Aliyah.
The United Jewish Federation of San Diego County in partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego, is proud to be a sponsor of the San Diego-Ibim Student Village.
