
Anat made Aliyah from Morocco with her parents at the age of five and grew up in Beer Sheva.
After serving in the IDF as an officer in the Pilots School she completed her first degree studies in Biology at Ben Gurion University followed by studies for a Masters degree in Neurobiology at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot.
Anat worked in the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem as a research assistant in the field of Neurology and at the same time completed studies to become a Tour Guide in Israel.
Anat was sent to France to serve as Shlicha, emissary, to the Jewish French Scouts Youth Movement (EEIF) on behalf of the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and upon her return to Israel, she integrated the Aliyah department of JAFI as a permanent staff member where she served in different positions since.
Between the years 2002-2005 Anat served as Community and Aliyah Shlicha with the Jewish Federation of Montreal, Canada.
After her return to Israel Anat was the director of the Ulpan Etzion Absorption Center in Jerusalem and her last position before arriving to Toronto as Aliyah Shlicha for Canada was Director of the European Geographical domain in the Aliyah department.
