MARVA:  List of Things to Bring

Important things:

  1. Sports clothes (running shoes + sweat pants or shorts)
  2. Socks + underclothes: undershirt allowed - white, black, navy, gray, green (a lot!) Because it is winter time, it is recommended that you bring long-sleeve undershirts and long underwear as well.
  3. Towel
  4. Toiletries
  5. Small lock for your back-pack
  6. Note pad + pen (pocket size)
  7. Insoles for hiking boots (very important)
  8. Watch with stopwatch feature (watch cover recommended)
  9. Shaving kit - boys
  10. Packed lunch - for first day (or money)
  11. Black shirts or dark colored shirt for field week (enough for a whole week, also dark long-sleeve shirts for night.
  12. Black shoe polish + a brush
  • For those who wear glasses bring a second pair or contact lenses.

Recommended List - Optional:

  1. Flashlight
  2. Laundry soap
  3. Matches or lighter
  4. Telecard
  5. A safety strap for your glasses
  6. Talc (baby powder, gold-bond)
  7. Wide rubber bands
  8. Sewing kit
  9. Pocket knife, lederman

  4. Rikushet

DON'T BRING VALUABLES, JEWELLERY OR A LOT OF MONEY!

  • BRING YOUR PASSPORT
  • BRING A LARGE BACK-PACK OR DUFFEL BAG , NOT A SUITCASE
  • Try to bring as little as possible.
  • All male participates have to be with a short hair-cut by the opening day otherwise they can not start the program.
