Hundreds of Olim will Arrive for an Aliyah-Day Celebration
for Israel's 60th Anniversary

On May 5th, a few days before Israel celebrates her 60th anniversary year, group flights from all over the world will land with new immigrants arriving in time to celebrate this special day as the country's newest Israelis.

330 olim  from Russia, the Ukraine, Hungry and Poland, Germany, Italy, Holland, England, France, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, The United States and South Africa, will be welcomed in a special gala ceremony in the presence of the State President, State leaders, the Chairman of the Jewish Agency and numerous public figures, who will make a salute to aliyah and olim and their essential role in building the country.

In what promises to be an emotional gathering, veteran olim, family, friends and Israelis volunteering through the At Home Together program, will shower the newcomers with blessings for success and guide them in their first hesitant steps.

The olim arriving on this day will be eligible for a host of extra perks and benefits such as: extra baggage allowance, a 60 day exemption from Absorption Center rental payments, 60 hours of guided tours around the country and much more.
