Desert Queen Jeep Expedition Launched with Over 50 Participants
28.10.2010

Over 50 women have started the Jewish Agency-Geographic Company Desert Queen Jeep Expedition, with the festive opening ceremony taking place at Britannia Park near Beit Shemesh. Participants include women from Israel and Jewish Communities from abroad.

Rany Trainin, Deputy-Chair Elect of the Jewish Agency, wished the women success on the expedition.

In addition to assorted training sessions, the first day of the expedition featured Israeli ethnic hospitality courtesy of members the Partnership 2000 Ofakim-Merchavim Cooks group (Mevashlot), who surprised the jeep delegation with a Hina Ceremony.
