SABABA!!!

The Engliyeda program kicked off this week with a unique course of spoken English for residents of the region run by volunteers from Cleveland.  Separate classes of both youth and adults studied intensively with the Cleveland residents who dropped everything and came to meet, teach and fall in love with the locals.

The studies take place at the Ort Makif Clali School that was recruited on short notice for this important task of planting the seeds of the English language in our region.

In addition to the course and the skills gained from it, the volunteers from Cleveland participated in their own Ivriyeda, run by their English students.

At the conclusion of the first week, the teachers described their experiences in one word:  SABABA!!!
