Karmiel's First Criterium

For the first time in the city's history, a Criterium was held in the streets of Karmiel this past Saturday, April 28, 2012. For the uninitiated a "Criterium" is a short course road bike competition conducted traditionally in urban centers. In light of the event's success, municipal leaders are calling to develop a city-based tradition of road bike competitions.

Israeli Pupils Prove More Prudent in their Use of Resources as Compared to their American Counterparts

Pupils from the Nitzanim and Har Sckenyah Elementary Schools are developing a Jewish environmental awareness in their relationship with their Pittsburgh counterparts

The program known as 'Eco-Connection' is operated by "Sviva Israel", an environmental education organization and the Karmiel - Misgav - Pittsburgh Partnership of the Jewish Agency.
