Dear Central Area Partnership Consortium Member,

 

We are all very excited to welcome you to Dallas, Texas! And very proud to invite you to the Winter Consortium Steering Committee in Dallas Texas, Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 9 a.m. through Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 11:30 a.m.

 

This year will be different with a workshop for the Israeli and American staff on Thursday, January 6th, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Marc Zarrouck from Israel will lead the workshops. On Friday, January 7th, we are scheduling a Shabbat Together for everyone at one of our local synagogues, Beth Torah.
 

The registration fee for the Steering Committee is $180 per person.  This includes all meals, snacks, and materials. Meals served at The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas will be kosher, and all other meals will be kosher style and/or vegetarian.  Please let us know if you prefer the vegetarian option.

 

The cost for the two-day staff workshop is $60, and price TBD for the Shabbat Together.

 

All meetings and lunches (dinner venues to be announced) will be held on the campus of The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, 7800 Northaven Road, Dallas, Texas 75230.  The JFGD campus is no more than a 5-10 minute drive from the Hyatt Summerfield Suites.

The special meeting rate is $105 for a studio king/suite, plus tax (the studio king/suite will accommodate up to 4 people). You must contact the hotel to make your own reservations. The special rate will be held until Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

We suggest that you check flying  into DFW or Love Field for the best available airfares and choices for arrivals and departures. Because of the many different arrival days and times, we will unfortunately not be able to provide transportation; however the usual car rental services are available at each of the airports.
