The Gershmans from Indianapolis visited the children of Youth Futures on October 5th at Rambam School in Akko.
The visit was arranged by Partnership 2000 Western Galilee and began with a joint discussion at the school's central synagogue, where the family met with the school principal, Mrs. Sigalit Barziliai, who told about the unique contribution the project and its quick implementation at the school.
Afterwards the guests continued to the Gan Harzit kindergarten, where children who are taking part in the project volunteer to sing and teach the Mishna with Trustee Eliad Eliyahu. The Garshmans not only flattered the children and applauded them, but also took part in the dancing and singing at the request of the children in the Youth Futures project (who obviously couldn't accept 'no' as an answer).
After the kindergarten performance ended, the guests continued to the Youth Futures classroom, where they met with Trustee Elinor Ben Ezra and her students, who had prepared ornamented Hamsas for the guests.

The Gershmans really enjoyed the visit and thanked the children. They even received an invitation to come and visit the school again whenever they want!
