Dear Friends,

I am pleased to share with you the final results of our national survey "Partnership 2000: Measuring Our Impact in Israel and the Overseas Jewish Communities" which was presented at the closing plenary of the June 2006 Board of Governors. The first part of the presentation includes findings of a national survey that we conducted in Israel, the objective of which was to assess the Israeli public's awareness of Partnership 2000 and their level of involvement. The second part of the presentation is a snapshot of Partnership 2000 in the year 2005, showing how many people in Israel and abroad participated in P2K missions and programming.

The figures clearly demonstrate that Partnership 2000 is far more than a collection of 44 independent partnerships - P2K is making a major impact on the State of Israel as well as on the Jewish people.  For example, in 2005, some 13,000 individuals took part in P2K missions in Israel and abroad, and 83,000 participated in P2K educational, community and living bridge programs! Even more gratifying, 86 percent are very satisfied with the P2K activities taking place in their region - a tribute to a very dedicated and professional team of staff and volunteers.
