| Harmonious encounter: Shin-Shinim and Bedouin meet together at Nitzana. |
The shin-shin teenage volunteers at Nitzana recently met with their counterparts from the Bedouin settlement of Tel Sheva. This was the latest in a series of encounters within the framework of a young leadership program given by the Rabin Center for Peace.
The young adults from the two communities engaged in a passionate dialogue proving that with good will the different sectors in Israeli society, do have much in common. The young leadership program promotes tolerance, breaks down barriers, and encourages pluralism and co-existence. The two groups sang together during a musical session that strengthened the harmonious atmosphere.
