Overseas Visitors to Nitzana Strengthen Israel-Diaspora Relationship
Dear Friends,
The past month has seen thousands of Diaspora Jewish visitors to Israel for the UJC General Assembly, the Jewish Agency Assembly and other events. During this period of deep economic recession and security uncertainty, this show of Jewish solidarity was a source of great strength for the Israeli people and reinforced the Diaspora Jewish relationship. As far as Nitzana is from Jerusalem, where these Assemblies took place, visitors from Colorado and the UK found their way down to the Israel-Egyptian border, to meet with the staff and students of the Negev residential village.
